James Anderson is an attorney in Corvantis Law’s Warsaw office. James focuses his practice on asbestos litigation, product liability, toxic torts, and personal injury cases.
James earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Warsaw and his law degree from Jagiellonian University, where he graduated cum laude in 2012. While in law school, James served as an editor on the International Law Review Association. He received the prestigious Quill and Torch Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing for his analysis of water rights among countries of the Global South. Additionally, his article on the framework of Argentinean energy law was published in the Law and Business Review of the Americas in 2011.
James was admitted to the Polish Bar Association in 2012. Since that time, he has obtained millions of dollars representing clients in cases involving toxic torts and products liability. His clients have included production workers, mechanics, construction workers, lumber mill workers, Navy veterans, and individuals exposed to asbestos fibers brought into the home on the work clothes of a spouse or parent.
More recently, James’s work has focused on representing men and women harmed by talcum powder products.
James has represented clients in both regional and national courtrooms throughout the country, including Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław, and Poznań to name a few.
In 2018 and 2019, James was named a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers.
He is also a member of The Polish Trial Lawyers Association and European Trial Lawyers Association.
